"The Canoe Squares is a Plus level square dancing club, dancing in Milton, Florida. Our dances are held on Monday evenings, from 7:30 to 9:30, With Bob Poyner calling. We have been dancing for twenty-two years as of February, 2006.
Some months feature a fifth Monday, and on those fifth Mondays, the Canoe Squares sponsor a casual dance and covered dish dinner, (please bring a covered dish). Square dance attire is not required for that event.
During the summer months, June, July and August, we do not require square dance attire, although it is still perfectly acceptable if you should choose to wear it. We feel that casual attire is appropriate for the conditions.
The Canoe Squares Anniversary Dance is traditionally held on the last Saturday of February. We will be celebrating our 24rd anniversary at 6860 Pooley St. Bagdad Fl. on February 23rd.
Our feature caller will be our own Boy Poyner and Vernon Jones from Springtown Texas.
For information about this or any other Canoe Squares activities, contact one of the club members (and prior Club Presidents) at 850-994-4465 or 850-484-6809
