The Florida Callers Association is a non profit organization founded:
- To acquaint the public with the moral and healthful recreational
opportunities available for those who desire to participate in it.
- To act as a clearing house for the exchange of information of all types relating to square dancing.
- To bring about cooperation among callers, teachers, and square and round dancers, and to assist in the development of all callers and square dance instructors.
- To promote and conduct an annual weekend workshop.
- To provide for free exchange of dance materials and other useful information and ideas between members.
- To maintain a current directory of members.
- To obtain a code of ethics for members.
- To hold an annual State Convention in cooperation with the Round Dance Council and the Florida Federation of Square Dancers.
